Anna Katerina Tischenko, PT
Anna Katerina is a pioneer in neurological rehabilitation, whose primary objective is to empower each client to achieve his or her personal goal. She uses a holistic and integrative approach to rehabilitation, consults with neurologists, neurosurgeons, orthopedic specialists, orthotists and equipment representatives locally and around the world. Anna Katerina has been practicing in South Florida region since 1996, and is a loyal supporter locally of the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis and Shake-a-Leg organization, as well as, internationally to Fundacion Venezolana Pro Cura de la Paralisis and FUVIN Organization.
Anna Katerina is currently pursuing her PhD in Physical Therapy at the University of Miami. Her doctoral thesis is designed to explore the development of physical therapist professional behaviors. She has also lectured at national and international meetings on the topics of neurological rehabilitation, spinal cord injury and multiple traumas.
Anna Katerina is a 15-year member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
