Marvin’s interest in physical therapy came through non-traditional means as he originally completed his undergraduate degrees in Finance and Risk Management/Insurance from the Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. After working in operations management for a couple health clubs in South Florida, Marvin returned to school where he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami. During his time in PT school, Marvin also began and completed Polestar’s Pilates for Rehabilitation curriculum and subsequently completed his certification with the Pilates Method Alliance. After graduation, Marvin began an Orthopedic Residency program through one of the University of St. Augustine’s off-site clinics in Jacksonville, NC where he treated various orthopedic injuries and pathology under the guidance of an experienced mentor. With the completion of the residency program, Marvin has returned to South Florida to continue with the development of his manual therapy skills in a Pilates-based environment.
Outside of work, Marvin enjoys scuba diving, traveling, and dining out with friends.
